Well, no, I'm aware of the differences. What is happenning is
this: To send a uuencoded file, I have to bring up a text editor in the
background, then cut and paste it onto the terminal. (Since both telnet
term program have no way to send an ascii file.), but when I load it into
any editor, that editor 'decides' that I really don't need some of the
characters in the uuencoded lines, and kills them, changing the line
sizes. This totally screws up the uue.
And, since this is rather off topic, any replies should be in
email. (Sorry Norm.)
